Thunderbolt 5

80 Gbps symmetric, up to 120 Gbps for displays, more power.

Thunderbolt 5 raises the ceiling to 80 Gbps symmetric bandwidth and up to 120 Gbps in the asymmetric 'Bandwidth Boost' mode for high-refresh displays, along with higher power delivery. It is backward-compatible with earlier Thunderbolt and USB4 devices, negotiating down to whatever the weakest link supports.
